Brucite is a mineral composed primarily of magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2). It commonly occurs as white, gray, or greenish sheets or fibrous masses with a pearly luster. Some of the most well-formed and translucent specimens are found in the Killa Saifullah district of Pakistan, which has sparked the interest of collectors and mineralogists.
